Theme Thursdays: Animal - March 31

Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event that will be open from one thursday to the next. Anyone can participate in it. The rules are simple:

•A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
•Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
•Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
•It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”
This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.

This week’s theme is – ANIMAL
Leave a comment at Reading Between Pages here with a link to your post.

My current read: Vesper (Deviants #1) by Jeff Sampson

A guy, some random guy at school looked at me and thought, What a heifer. What a pig. And then wished, if anyone named Emily had to die, that it had been me. The "fat' one.

  1. Sounds a little serious, hope it is a good read. I'll be interested in reading a review.

    Mine is here:

  2. Ooo, is she a mind reader? Doesn't sound like a nice boy :(

My segment is from Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban this week.

  3. Awww, poor Emily! Good take on the theme. Here is mine:

  4. How stupid of me. I had to google the meaning of "heifer". Well, a new learning today :)

    Thanks to you!
